From September 1994 to March 1998, the Azadegan Foundation published a monthly newsletter named Focus on Iran. The purpose of the publication was to reflect social, political, and cultural messages of the Iranian people who have been living under the tyrannical rule of the clerical regime. We wanted to bring to the attention of world public opinion, and specially U.S. Administration and the Congress, misrule, corruption, suppression, and gross violation of human rights in Iran. For the last two decades, Azedegan Fondation has been advocating freedom, pluralistic and participatory democracy and the establishment of secular government in Iran. Focus on Iran twice won exceptional praises from the US Congress, and The Congressional Record acknowledged its importance by describing it as “one of the most balanced, if not the most balanced publication, on Iran.” We apologize for any typographical errors as a result of scanning the newsletters to this website
